Intuitive creative process vs algorithms

problem solution

🥱 Bored with “Lean” and “Six Sigma” – methods common in Automotive, I was looking for knowledge on how to approach problem solving innovatively. Methodological optimization and “nibbling” percentages is not always the right solution, when it’s begging to be “turned upside down”. My creative approach in problem solving was ‘somehow’ intuitive, based on ‘some’ experience, being ‘somehow’ more open to solutions and ‘somehow’ having flashes of ideas. Often this approach led me to come up with ‘some’ solution. However, I was also often left with an idea and the thought “what next?”.

I thought I wouldn’t like working as a Product Owner and that I would be developing software for the construction industry

For several months I developed programming software for small and medium-sized construction companies. This project taught me a completely different approach to developing web applications. I had the opportunity to test the demo version and implement the first releases with the first customers. I also had an influence on the development of the application’s features based on feedback from the market.

I’ve fallen in love with public speaking

I have had 5 public speaking appearances in 2022. Once when I worked in a corporation I liked to train and show my papers to clients. My presentations were technical, sometimes very long. Mostly about the noise, vibration – NVH engineering. I never had the opportunity to prepare a presentation in the form of a startup pitch, a product pitch, a sales pitch, a marketing pitch, for a product that is not yet there and to speak in front of a large group of people.

I didn’t like programming until I found NEO4J and made the MVP of the program myself

I’ve programmed in many languages in the past c, c++, java, sql and many others. I didn’t really like any of these languages. I’ve always liked databases and tables. What NEO4J did exceeded my wildest expectations. Using the CYPHER language in this database, it was possible to successfully build the MVP of the artist billing program.

Live Validation in a fun way

The clever nvh engineer always has a bundle of zip ties with him, even in the mountains. They saved my day….

I bought a car trailer for $110k and implemented it to NVH process

Towing dyno – is a car dyno in the form of a trailer. The load it generates is able to stop the car in a fraction of a second. I drove the car myself, took care of the trailer and took measurements of vibroacoustic. For NVH Engineer towing dyno substitutes hills.

Designed in Rzeszów, Made in Germany

The automotive business looks like that in Germany they have research and development of products, and in Poland these products are manufactured. In this post I describe an interesting example showing the reverse trend in the automotive industry. Polish doesn’t mean it’s worse…
